Mamapreneurs, Inc. DBA The Power MOB (Mom-Owned Businesses) is THE savvy go-to community for mom business owners around the country. Fostering a supportive environment for its members, The Power MOB focuses on redefining balance for the individual mom business owner. The group emphasizes collaboration over competition for mothers who are also business owners, independent consultants or in the process of launching a new business.

Join The Power MOB in Portland, Oregon for monthly business meetings, interactive workshops, quarterly Mama Mixers and playdates, and other special events. The Power MOB also hosts the annual Makings of a Mamapreneur conference, as well as an annual trade show & fair, The Mom Shop.

HISTORY
After leaving the corporate world to launch her own custom stationery and design studio, Schotland searched for resources and support organizations in which she could connect with other women on issues of both business and family. Schotland launched Mamapreneurs Inc. (DBA The Power MOB) on Mother’s Day of 2006; the organization now proudly has 200+ members around the country.

Mamapreneurs Inc. DBA The Power MOB has been featured on the Portland, Oregon NBC affiliate KGW Newschannel 8, FOX 12 Better TV, Portland Monthly magazine, The Oregonian, MOM Magazine, and many more print and online publications.
